DigiMinds is a student led and community oriented organization aiming to teach the foundations of Java to the younger generation. We originally started out teaching scratch coding to elementary schoolers, but have expanded our scope to Java programming. At DigiMinds, we believe programming is crucial to improve logical thinking and problem-solving. No prior Java experience is required. Students will learn how to break down complex problems into smaller, manageable parts, enhancing their analytical skills which are valuable in any field. Furthermore, students get the opportunity to collaborate with others and develop their own unique projects. An outline of our week-long program can be found in the Program section. Additionally, we are constantly looking for mentors, so if you have a strong programming background and want to have a positive impact on the community, applications are always open!
